What if I'm an absolute beginner?
The long and short answer is - yes. This course has been developed from the ground up, to take someone who is just starting out all the way up to the point where they feel comfortable and knowledgeable on set.
It is also suitable to the working professional, as we go quite in-depth on more advanced shoot breakdowns later in the course, as well as business and negotiations breakdowns that are valuable to every working professional.
Do I need any expensive equipment?
Nope! So long as you have a computer and decent internet connection - that's all you truly need.
You may find that the assignments and videos are easier to do with a mirrorless camera or some sort of DSLR - although even a smartphone camera can be used.
For the lighting segment, something as simple as a bedside table lamp can be used for the practical assignments.
